Audience: Adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities and their support teams

Objectives

  • Keep readers up to date on program news and upcoming events
  • Highlight personal stories and photos that celebrate community life
  • Deliver uplifting content—quotes, puzzles, celebrations, and jokes—to foster engagement

Lead Designer & Production Manager: Developed a master Canva template and manage every monthly issue for a smooth, repeatable workflow.

Color Strategy: Each month's color palette changes, consisting of two WCAG‑compliant base colors and one accent color for borders.

Accessibility & Usability: Consistent gutters and padding; all CTAs at least 44×44 px for touch‑friendly interaction

  • Foster engagement through fun, accessible content—jokes, puzzles, and quotes
  • Celebrate community members with birthday features and photo spreads

Lead Designer & Production Manager: Created the full template from scratch and manage each monthly issue, ensuring consistency, creativity, and speed of production.
